Homemade for the Holidays

You know Dasher, and Dancer, and Prancer, and Vixen
Comet, and Cupid, and Donner and Blitzen
But do you recall the most famous reindeer of all.....

We made these fun reindeer noses for Emma's Pre K classmates this week.  So simple but way cute!  I found the idea on Pinterest and the personalized labels on Etsy.  In a clear bag I put 8 whoppers and 1 cherry sour (other ideas are a fire ball, gum ball, jaw breaker, etc. but for little people I thought the sours were most age appropriate and similar in size to the whoppers).  I printed, cut, folded and stapled the labels and she was all set to deliver :)

We also made several batches of peppermint and gingerbread playdoh!!  I also found these directions on Pinterest.  Perhaps the best part is that the ingredients are products most of us have on hand anyway!  The ingredients for both recipes were almost identical (except peppermint uses flavoring as well as red food color while gingerbread uses brown food coloring and the following spices: allspice, cinnamon, ginger and clove).

With some serious concentration, my little helpers stirred.....

...and stirred some more!

The playdough smelled just like peppermint and gingerbread!  YUM!  We packaged them up with pretty ribbon and a cookie cutter before delivering them to some of our favorite friends :)
