The City of Woodway hosted a week long safety camp for kiddos in our community! It was led by several of the police officers. Emma and Owen learned so much.
The program focused on fire, bike and internet safety. It also educated them on when to access 911 and how to render first aid.
The group toured the dispatch center, a fire truck and a SWAT vehicle. They also met a K9 officer.
Here are the "graduates" of the first annual safety camp :) The city officials hosted a big celebration on the last day! The mayor and other city leaders were in attendance. The kids received awards and goody bags. They especially loved the snow cones after!
