Emma was bummed from the moment we realized that Halloween fell on a football Friday! Luckily for her {and everyone involved!} our church and community postponed the fall festival and trick or treating activities for the following evening. We cheered loud and proud and our Tigers beat the Bulldogs and secured a playoff spot!!
On Saturday evening we started at our church's annual Fall Festival. We enjoyed dinner, fellowship and games!

The police department blocked off a downtown block and hosted a fun event. Local businesses set up booths and handed out candy to the kiddos. We ended the night with some old fashioned trick-or-treating. The kids returned home with plenty of candy and even shared some with us :) One yard was decked out in all things Halloween. We were just knew the kids would skip that house but Owen marched right up. The mechanical skeletons didn't phase him!
A great time was had by all. We sure love this Elsa and Peter Pan :)
