Moving Day

Although we anticipated our big move for several months, it actually happened pretty quickly!  I had been packing since early February so at least I had a good start on things.  Our family spent four long months living 125 miles apart during the week and it was time to make something happen!  The hope was to sell our Cameron house before the rest of us would move east.  Instead, we finally just had to take a leap of faith and go.  Rental options are very slim in our new area.  I discovered a possible rental home advertised in the Huntsville Item on a Wednesday.  Jarrod went to check it out that day and somehow I gave my consent over the phone without seeing it.  The following Saturday (yes, just 3 days later) we loaded a moving truck.

Posing for a photo in the 26' moving truck :)

What a helper!!

We are forever grateful to our personal moving team :)  Our parents have been so gracious to offer love and support during each of our many moves (seven times in our eight years of marriage, in fact!).

Our littlest movers taking a break to play!!

Packing is like one giant game of Tetris.  We barely fit everything on the truck and we were glad to make just one trip!!

Last family photo in Cameron:

We are still unpacking and getting settled in our new place (and look forward to a quick trip to the beach this week!)  Lots to post soon....
