Hudson is 3-and-a-half!! He is now 33 pounds of pure sugar!
In early June he started confidently counting! He often says "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13...18"! Just in the past week he surprised us with reciting the entire alphabet! What a smart cookie!
He especially loves airplanes, trains and guitars! His newest favorite foods include grilled cheese, pop tarts and yogurt. He wants a bite of whatever anyone else has!
This Spring we both enjoyed an eight week music class! Hudson especially loved playing the instruments, hearing the guitar and free dancing! We still listen to the songs on cd and he instantly recognizes them :)
Hudson was accepted into the Baylor LAP {Language & Articulation Preschool}. He participated in the program for the month of July, and then resumed after Labor day for the school year!
Hudson works hard at therapy! He went through some mild separation therapy around 37 months, especially when being dropped off for therapy. This is not a stage he had been through before. He does PT & OT once per week. He recently obtained knee immobilizers, which allow him to "stand" while holding onto a bar. Over the summer he figured out how to get from laying flat on his back to a sitting position!

His vocab continues to explode, and he is finally starting to piece a few words together at a time. He says things such as "elegator (elevator), push button, open door!" and "fish swimming ocean"! He is SO much fun and is really becoming more and more aware of the world around him.
Other new phrases include: "over there", "right there", "Mama kiss" (as he leans in for a smooch!), "again", "I stuck", "ready, set, GO!!", "go play in room", "go home", "go shoppin", "stop it" "that's enough" "right NOW" (while wagging his index finger), "hush", "oww that hurts", "Mama hold you" (please pick me up), "roll" (put me in my wheelchair), "yump yump" (he likes to jump on the trampoline outside).
He is usually a happy-go-lucky kid, That is, unless you don't honor his request of "more waffle", he finds a toy car without doors that open or the mini display football helmet doesn't fit. He still naps every afternoon. Some days he even says "paci, tummy" when he is ready. Other days he negotiates watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse instead!
