In mid December we surprised the kiddos with a trip on the Polar Express in Palestine! We all had a fun time :) The station was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the characters were so friendly and welcoming! All aboard!
Our train left just before sunset. The restored train was so neat and the entire experience followed the story line very well. Shortly after the ride began we were served hot cocoa and a cookie before the Polar Expess book was read. The music from the movie played as we finally reached the north pole! Santa and his elves waved and welcomed our group.
Owen was pleased with his very own golden ticket!
Without a doubt, the most exciting part of the ride was when Santa boarded the train and traveled back to the station with us! He was kind enough to give each kiddo a special bell, sign their golden ticket and even pose for a quick photo :)

It was so fun!
